WSZ Widescreen is the ultimate external screening solution for any outdoor area or window. Widescreen utilises it’s integrated zip to guide the fabric and create a fully sealed, and smooth fabric finish, protecting against sun, wind, rain, and insects all year round. Enclose any alfresco entertaining areas or keep home windows covered. Sleek, secure, and durable, your custom designed system can be made in widths of up to 6.5 metres and drops of up to 3.3 metres.
WIRE GUIDE SYSTEM
Widescreen Wire Guide, a Premium cable guided solution, perfect for floor to ceiling applications. Featuring a smart bracket to fix the base of the wire guide to the floor, face or recess. The Wire Guide system is a smooth guide via the base rail for the fabric. Wire tension is quick and easy to adjust.
WIDESCREEN STRAIGHT DROP
The Widescreen Straight Drop system is an entry-level outdoor shading solution that is suitable for a variety of external shade applications – sliding windows and doorways, undercover areas or outdoor areas. The Straight Drop system is simple in its design and installation, creating a minimal aesthetic, This outdoor blind has the option for hold down fixing to the floor and is a very cost-effective solution.

The Widescreen Arm system is ideal for awning windows on first or second story levels. This system keeps windows shaded without completely covering windows. The robust spring-loaded arm, maintains constant fabric tension in all positions, giving you complete control of the amount of coverage and shade. The Widescreen Pivot arm system is available in crank gear or motorised control, ensuring you have an easy point of control for hard to reach areas.
FOLDING ARM AWNING
Widescreen Folding Arm Awning products have a unique 8-link, stainless steel arm chain engineered for superior arm strength, heavy-duty internal arm springs ensures robust arm and fabric tension for smooth taut fabric presentation.

WIDESCREEN SLIDE LOCK
Widescreen Slide Lock Blind is ideal for use in a variety of outdoor settings including patios, decks, balconies and porches. This is a good choice if you are looking for an inexpensive option to our Widescreen Zip version. You can choose a number of lock positions at time of installation.
It is not recommended in areas that experience high winds as the fabric may blow out of its side channels.
WIDESCREEN LOCK ARM AWNING
The most traditional Style of Awning, the Auto Awning runs on auto guides attached to the wall.
Angle of awning can be altered by asking for arms of different projections. Straight finish on the bottom or choose a scalloped finish on request.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I use Widescreen as a break against heavy winds?
External blinds are not designed to endure heavy winds. We recommend blinds to be drawn and secured during heavy winds and storms. Consult your Widescreen supplier for further details.
Can Widescreen be used if the area is out of square?
Widescreen features side adjustment channels which can help mitigate installation issues in unaligned/out of square areas. Contact your closest Widescreen supplier for their measure and quote service.
How do I care for my Widescreen?
We recommend regular cleaning, at least every 3 months. Use a soft brush to clean the blind. Aluminium extrusions can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm soapy water or a small amount of mild detergent if required. Once cleaned apply silicone spray to the side guide grooves, contact your closest Widescreen supplier to purchase the correct silicone product. Widescreen side guides are cleverly designed to allow and dirt, dust or grime to exit at the bottom when cleaned.
How does the hi-performance side fastening system work?
The fastener is welded or sewn onto the fabric and fed into the side rails, allowing it to be securely guided up and down in operation. This hi-performance fastening system provides the stability and protection needed in retention blinds.
Widescreen’s side fastener system is the strongest and most flexible on the market.
How large can Widescreen be made?
Your external roller blinds can expand to a total area of 18 sqm. The maximum possible width is 6.5 metres and maximum drop is 3.4 metres. If your area is larger than this, please consult with a Widescreen professional for further advice.
What colours are available?
The hardware comes in six standard colours or can be custom powder coated to suit your existing outdoor decor. The Hi- Performance Fabric colours and styles selection is extensive, for a complete fabric selection please consult your Widescreen supplier.
